How to Receive Anything From God

- Adjust Your Perspective of God
- God is a loving Father. Lk. 11:13
- God is not mad at you. Ps. 145:8, Lam. 3:22-23
- People who perceive God as a stingy punisher have difficulty receiving anything.
- Search The Scriptures
- All of God’s promises were fulfilled in Jesus. II Co. 1:20
- Study God’s Word before a crisis comes. Job 23:10
- A general understanding of His Word is beneficial. II Tm. 2:15, Ac. 17:11

- What Does the Word Say?
- The five most important words ever!
- Often the difference between life and death
- God’s Word in your mouth becomes a weapon. ”…the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” Eph. 6:17
- The Prayer of Faith
- Pray the prayer of faith once and receive your promise by faith. Mk. 11:24
- Write down the time and date and consider that promise received.
- Turn that temptation to beg into faith by reminding the Lord of your “promise date.” Is. 43:26
- Stand on the Word
- You’re not a beggar, you’re a believer.
- “Having done all to stand…stand therefore..” Eph. 6:13
- To “walk by faith and not by sight” means you choose to believe God’s Word over your circumstances. II Co. 5:7
- The twins of faith: “…by faith and patience, you will inherit the promise.” Hb. 6:12
Faith has nothing to do with feelings. Feelings have nothing to do with faith.
