- What is Sin?

You must be born again. Jn. 3:3 - Sins of the flesh – cleansing needed often
Iniquity, def. – a twisted desire to do something contrary to an established norm
Transgression, def. – deliberate breaking of a known law.
All sin makes Jesus sad because it separates you from Him.

- Blood Covers Sin
- The blood of the lamb covered Israel’s sin. Ex. 12:13
- The Blood of the Lamb of God covers yours. Jn. 1:29, Eph. 1:7
To believe anything less cheapens His sacrifice. How dare you imply that your sin is greater than His Blood! - Washed in the Blood – refers to the frequent cleansing from sins of the flesh.
- When You Feel Guilty
- Is this condemnation or conviction?
- Don’t run from God with your sin. Run to Him.
- Receive Forgiveness
- 911 – Natural emergency
119 – Spiritual emergency I Jn 1:9 - Your part — “If you confess your sins…”
- God’s part — “He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I Jn 1:9
- Rejoice and never bring it up again. Je. 31:34, Hb. 8:12
- 911 – Natural emergency
God does not consult your past to determine your future. The reason your windshield is larger than your rearview mirror is so you can move forward. Your past is past.
