God Wants You to Prosper in Every Area of Your Life
1. True biblical prosperity is having enough for ourselves and an inner responsibility to meet the needs of others.
2. “…so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.]” II Co. 9:8 Amp.
The Purpose of Prosperity
1. As a testimony to the goodness of God. Dt. 8:18
2. To establish His covenant.
3. To reveal the Father heart of God. Lk. 12:32
4. To bring God pleasure. Ps. 35:27
5. It’s not wrong to have money as long as money doesn’t have you.
Forms of Depositing and Withdrawals
1. Tithing Dt. 26, Mal. 8-11
2. Giving to the poor Pr. 19:17
3. Making investments into the gospel Mk. 10:29
4. When all of earth’s banks are depleted, those who have switched over to God’s economy will have surplus. I Tm. 6:19, Mt. 6:19
The Law of Sowing and Reaping
1. An unchanging law; a divine principle
2. “Give and it shall be given unto you…” Lk. 6:38
3. Without sowing seed, there is no harvest. Ga. 6:9
4. The hundredfold return is yours the moment you give, not after its in our hands. Study Mark 10:30 “… in this lifetime.”
5. God demonstrated it by sowing Jesus, so He could reap “many brethren.” Rom. 8:29
