The Rewards of Tithing

Tithing is Not About Money
1. It’s about obedience. Is. 1:19
2. It’s about trust. Pr. 3:9-10
3. It’s about choosing God’s economy.
4. It’s about priorities. Hg. 1:7-9
5. Tithing is God’s method for blessing you.
6. The tithe is holy. The tithe is His. Don’t mess with the tithe!
Tithing Makes No Sense Intellectually
1. Why give 10% of income when you can’t pay your bills?
2. Robbing God? Yes, you rob Him of blessing you the way He wants to.
3. God will stretch your 90% far beyond comprehension.
Is Your Window Open or Closed?
1. Tithing opens the blessings of God.
2. Not tithing closes the windows of heaven.
A Blessing Poured Out
1. Not always financial blessings
2. Meeting the right people, unexpected sales, tires last longer…
3. Not a coincidence. Recognize God’s hand in the matter.
The Devourer is Rebuked
1. Satan is the devourer; the thief Jn. 10:10
2. Tithers live under an invisible immunity to the attacks of the devil.
3. Angels are dispatched on behalf of tithers. Ps. 91:11
4. Learn to say, “Satan, I’m a tither and I rebuke you, in Jesus name.”
Right on Time
1. “Your vine shall not cast its fruit before its time…”
2. Agricultural terms, but also applies to anything premature: babies, fruit, clients who walk off, negotiations that deteriorate…
